|Deepak Dhawan : Profile|
|Deepak Dhawan has over 35 years of general management, organization development and core HR experience at a strategic level across public and private sectors in the steel, automotive and services domains.
His last assignment was as Vice President & Global Head HR of Exl Service (NASDAQ: EXLS). As a member of the Executive Committee, he provided thought leadership to the journey of a captive operation in danger of extinction with 900 employees, to a publicly listed, global third party operation with over 10,000 employees.
Prior to this, Deepak was with the Eicher Group in various capacities, the last being Executive Vice President HR & Strategic Planning. He was a member of the Group Management Board and a member on the Board of Eicher Consulting Services. He established the strategic planning process within the company that led to subsequent strategic decisions of divesting in non-core businesses.
At Steel Authority of India (1977-1990), Deepak was part of the think-tank, which worked with Dr V Krishnamurthy on the three-year comprehensive turnaround change effort.
Deepak brings key strategic skills with demonstrated successes in change management, business turnaround, HR transformation and merger integration.
Deepak is an alumnus of St Stephens’ College and Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi.
