He has acquired experience in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors, being on the staff of the following companies: Vale do Rio Doce, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Accenture, Royal Dutch Shell and Towers Watson (formerly Towers Perrin).
His background and expertise comprise leadership development, teambuilding, coaching, human resources management, workplace communication, business processes redesign and ERP implementation.
He rendered professional consulting services for several market industries, coordinating international projects, trainings, meetings and facilitating workshops in English, Spanish and Portuguese, in Latin America, United States, Africa and Europe.
Luis Adonis is professor at MBA in Project Management (“Project Management Skills”, Universidade Federal Fluminense), guest lecturer and conference speaker at universities in Brazil and abroad, trainer for leadership and management development and facilitator for top-management teams.
He is graduated in Production Engineering, with a post-graduate degree in Business Administration, a specialization degree in Human Resources Administration and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership (attending). He is a certified senior coach.
Author of the books “Um observador nunca está à paisana” (Qualitymark, 1998), about HR and organizational issues, and “Quem roeu a roupa do Rei” (Campus-Elsevier, 2001), about services and marketing. Author of the cartoon “coffee-break” and articles on people management and communication, published by “Melhor” and “Língua” (Brazilian magazines).
Luis Adonis is volunteer on Junior Achievement, the world leader in education to entrepreneurship, introducing business matters to young students.
