During a human resources career spanning nearly 20 years, he has recently been manager of learning and organizational development at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and a human resources consultant at Tenet Healthcare Corporation. He holds an MA in Human Resources Development from Marymount University in Arlington, VA, and has certifications in conflict resolution, project management, leadership essentials, and related disciplines.
He has also coachedmanagers onstrategic organizational and operationalissues,as well as with theirpersonal leadership issues. He helped them utilize the skills, models, and content they learned in the leadership program as well as giving them other adult learning tools, methodologies, and resources for improvement.
As an academic teacher he has taught in a variety of colleges and universities in the Philadelphia area. He has taught in the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, Villanova University, The Fox School of Business at Temple University and Widener University. He has taught both undergraduate and graduate students in a variety of Human Resources Management, Diversity in the Workplace, and Business Communications courses.
As a consultant, he provides human resources training and organizational development services to healthcare groups, including Hahnemann University Hospital and the Medical College of Pennsylvania.
