Mary Edmunds, a skilled facilitator with two decades of English language training experience at the corporate, college, and nonprofit levels, Mary trains staff in improving communication skills. Students develop and sharpen their listening and learning strategies. Mary creates customized courses that include business writing, accent control, presentation skills, job function progression, cross cultural competencies, and diversity topics. Lead staffs to work more inclusively and equitably with clients, partners, and global customers. Mary has used her degree in Psychology from Santa Clara University, with additional certificates in FTBE, TESL, and Technical Writing, to provide challenging individualized curriculum material.

Presently, she is taking certification courses in diversity training. Mary believes that before cross cultural competencies can be achieved, people need to understand their own reactions and belief systems in diversity. She has already assisted audiences in learning how to define their cultural backgrounds with more introspection. Students increase cultural knowledge and appreciation among diverse team members. Individuals become motivated to become leaders across various work cultures and business practices.

Mary is also a community leader and advocate for several nonprofits in the Bay Area.
